Custom order double veils (a cross over between double veils and wings)
Each veil is 2.5 yards tissue lame. At one end of each veil there is a casing with wooden sticks inserted.
$50 / set of 2 veils (2.5 yards)
$55 / set of 2 veils (3 yards)
$70 / set of 3 veils (2.5 yards) - you can add even more excitement with 3 veils!
Please specify the colors you would like, but please keep in mind:
- it's best to choose 2 shades that are close to each other, for example red + orange, light green+dark green, etc.
- it's nice if the veils match your costume, but it's not necessary.
- you can choose 2 of the same colors, but different shades really do add more.
- you can email a picture, and suggestions will be mailed for best colors.
The above video illustrates SOME of the movements you are able to do but there's a lot more room for creativity. Also by adding a third veil you add more
variety and possibilities. This is similar to Isis Wings but it allows a lot more freedom. With your purchase Marianna will include suggestions of movements /
technique in how to dance with these as well as answer any questions you have.

Double veil - sold
One of a kind professional quality costume
6 pieces, used but in very good condition
Measurements:
Bra: end to end 39"; B/small C cup, A with some padding. Halter
style, straps are 11" and 14" (for overlap with hooks).
Skirt with attached belt: This resembles the Tempest style from
Pharaonics with 3 straps total. Cons: you have to adjust each strap to
fit you. Pros: each strap is adjustable and will fit you perfectly.
Another con: if you gain/loose just 1" you might need to adjust it
again, but pros again: they will fit you perfectly!!
Straps: Bottom strap: 43". (of course this needs to overlaps at least
2 inches, using 2 hooks to be safe.) This should be on lower hips, as
low as it goes. The back part of the belt is made curved. Middle
straps all across, including the back is 39", and top straps are
including back 38". Front closure.
The skirt is 3 layers: 2 layers of orange and one fucia on top. Length
of skirt is 30" but it goes from the bottom of the belt, which sits very
low all around. For reference, I am 5'7" and fits me just right. You can
add 1" by sewing the skirt exactly on the bottom edge of the belt.
Bra and belt is decorated with fucia/pink appliques, beads, (lots of
beads) sequins, crystals and rhinestones throughout. Bra has looped
style beading in front with various sizes of orange/ fucia beads.
Comes with 2 matching sleeves, headband and a matching rectange
veil.
